Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Yosemite
A painting series of highlights from a trip we did back in October 2020. Joshua Tree had been on my bucket list for the longest time and I was excited to finally visit. We started in SF and drove along Highway 1, making stops at Paso Robles and Santa Barbara before reaching Joshua Tree. After a few days there, we headed towards Death Valley and then Yosemite. Every day was a mini adventure from driving onto a beach in a ghost town and getting stuck in the sand to running through the dark and almost stepping on a tarantula. This trip marked the end of our SF chapter and felt like an ode to California.
